Pressemeldinger
Bakgrunnsinformasjon til
pressemeldinger:
I 27 år har kunstner,
forfatter og foredragsholder Benjamin Creme forberedt veien for
I mange
skeptisk verden.
apartheid i Sør Afrika.
globalt samarbeid.
For dem som søker tegn
I følge Benjamin Creme
trenger vi ikke å vente lenge før vi vil se Ham. Snart vil Maitreya bli
intervjuet av et større amerikansk TV-selskap og Hans offentlige
tilsynekomst vil begynne. Creme holder foredrag over hele verden,
blir regelmessig intervjuet på TV og i radio, har forfattet 12 bøker –
oversatt til 11 språk – og er redaktør av tidsskriftet Share
International som leses i over 70 land. Han mottar ikke noe honorar
for sitt arbeid. Benjamin Creme tilbyr et positivt syn på framtiden
– et budskap om håp for verden.

International pressemelding, januar 07
As we
enter 2007, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of
Share International magazine, and in July,
the 30th anniversary of Maitreya, the World
Teacher’s arrival in London. Share
International is, to our knowledge, the only
magazine in the world which publishes an article
by a Master of Wisdom. Each month Benjamin Creme’s
Master gives such an article which provides unique
insights into the world situation, and points to a
brilliant future for humanity. His latest,
‘Maitreya steps forward’, indicates just how
little time now is left before Maitreya, the World
Teacher begins His open, public work — an event
awaited by many millions around the world.
Maitreya steps forward
The
emergence of Maitreya is all but accomplished. His
open, public work will commence really very soon.
From then will begin the process of teaching and
becoming known, gradually, to the peoples of the
world. The time that this will take remains unclear,
but it should proceed relatively quickly. At first,
of course, there may be much opposition to His views
and the nature of His advice. This is only to be
expected, so far from the prevailing thinking is His
thought. Gradually, however, Maitreya’s incisive
mind will cut through and expose the flaws in
present beliefs about the environment and on matters
social, economic and political. The logic and wise
understanding of His words will convince many to
listen and contemplate further, while His Ray will
penetrate the hearts of millions and turn His simple
words into revelations of Truth. No one, as yet,
knows the loving power of Maitreya, nor can men
fathom His inscrutable wisdom.
Rally
As millions
rally to His cause, demanding peace and justice
through sharing and understanding, men will be swept
up and galvanized by new hope and a longing for
brotherhood and right relationship. They will demand
change on a scale hitherto unknown. The governments
and men of power will be forced to respond to the
demands, and bit by bit, the edifice against change
will crumble before the onslaught of a now empowered
voice of public opinion. Thus, by logic, revelation
and the trust engendered by His love, will Maitreya
harness the goodwill which exists, even if unknown,
in every heart.
Millions
Maitreya
will speak to millions of men through television and
radio. All will have the opportunity to share in His
blessing which will accompany every appearance. Thus
the people worldwide will become familiar with His
message and the uplifting of their hearts. Much
speculation will surround His identity and many will
be the theories presented, but all in their
different ways will see Him as the harbinger of the
new, a conveyor of wholesome truths and as a
way-shower of a lifestyle close to their hearts.
Of course,
there will be those who feel threatened by His
ideas, and who will attempt to stop His progress
but, more and more, the beauty and good sense of His
words will inspire the people of all the nations to
see Him as their spokesman and leader. Thus will it
be. The people will call for Him to speak on their
behalf to the world at large, and the Day of
Declaration will be announced.
This day,
like none other before or after, will give Maitreya
the opportunity to reveal His name, title and
purpose, as the World Teacher for the New Age, the
leader of the Spiritual Hierarchy and the Expected
One of all religious groups. As the friend and
teacher of all who need His help will He present
Himself; as a simple man Who knows the pain and
suffering of men and seeks to ease their lot, Who
loves all totally, without condition, and Who has
come to show us the steps to joy.
Such a one
is about to step before the world and give His
advice to all. We may have heard the words before.
Now, with His blessing, we shall understand their
meaning, and act.

The end of corruption
I mange år har tidsskriftet Share
International regelmessig publisert artikler av en
Visdommens Mester. Langt fra å være mystisk eller
fjern tar Mesteren ofte opp de umiddelbare
problemene som menneskeheten står overfor.
Hans nyeste artikkel ‘The end of corruption’
adresserer den gjennomgripende korrupsjonen som i
dag finnes i alle samfunnslag, gir råd om at
nøkkelen til å overvinne dette urgamle
problemet ligger i tillit, og legger fram den eneste
måten å oppnå dette på.
More and more, the nations are beginning to
recognize, to take seriously and to deal with, an
age-old problem, namely corruption. In some parts of
the world corruption has been a way of life for
centuries. This has benefited the few, of course, at
the expense of the many. For untold ages, corrupt
leaders and powerful politicians have waxed rich on
the taxes imposed on their subjects and citizens. In
modern times, the large corporations of the West
have been found guilty of ‘cooking the books’ on a
massive scale, while in the East, it is taken for
granted that every transaction needs the ‘greasing’
of someone’s palm.
Corruption is endemic, and runs through some
societies from the president or prime minister to
the police and sport. Electoral corruption is
rampant, as recent elections have demonstrated, even
in countries supposedly dedicated to freedom and
democracy. Such corrupt governments fail and betray
their peoples and so surrender their right to
govern.
Trust
In
the midst of such corruption is it possible to
engender trust without which the future for men
would be bleak indeed? Without trust, a fairer
sharing of resources would be a forlorn hope.
Without trust, the global decisions required to
sustain our planetary home would never be taken.
Without blessed and beneficent trust, men would
forfeit their right of Stewardship of Planet Earth,
and would seal themselves off for aeons from further
evolution.
Thus would it be, and thus should men tackle
seriously, and without delay, the corrosive impact
of corruption on every strata of society, and every
nook and cranny of our planetary life.
Eroding
To
help men to do this, you may be sure that Maitreya
will be at pains to demonstrate to men the eroding
effect of corruption in all its many manifestations.
He will show that if men would become the Gods they
essentially are, they must abandon the old ways of
deceit and subterfuge. To tackle the serious
environmental problems, He will explain, men must
work together, in trust. Without trust, Maitreya
will emphasise, little can be done. So steeped in
corruption themselves are the leaders of the
nations, that they trust no one.
Maitreya will show that men have but one choice to
create the necessary trust: to share the produce of
this bounteous Earth more evenly across the world,
and so end for ever the starvation and poverty of
millions, dying in the midst of plenty.
Will the leaders listen to the words of Maitreya?
For the most part, possibly, no, not at first. But
soon the people everywhere will hear, and see the
wisdom of Maitreya’s advice. They will say amen to
His wise words and support His Cause. World public
opinion will find its voice and its Mentor, and
against its power the obstructive voices of the
greedy dictators and corrupt politicians will fade.
So will it be, and so will begin the cleansing and
transformation of this world.

I mange år har tidsskriftet
Share International regelmessig publisert
artikler av en Visdommens Mester. Langt fra
å være mystisk eller fjern
tar Mesteren ofte
andre verdensanliggender.
America adrift
It is only a
matter of time before the people of the United
States realize that they have made a grievous
mistake. They have reinstated, albeit with the aid
of many stolen votes, a man and administration
dedicated to the creation of division and hatred,
both nationally and internationally.
They will
ruefully watch an attack on their proudly held
freedoms; they will see a steep decline in their
standard of living as the government, of
necessity, strives to tackle their enormous debts;
they will witness a loss of confidence in their
currency and a sharp reversal of trade with their
traditional trading partners. The calamitous
invasion of Iraq will continue to fester, both in
Iraq and elsewhere in the world. Reacting to the
fear and hatred which this administration has
engendered almost universally, the tendency will
be for the people to look inwards, and to turn
their backs even more squarely on the world.
Illusion
A major
problem in dealing with this administration is the
powerful illusion under which it works: that it is
God-inspired and so in divine Grace, helping to
restore the Christian world and message to its
former power and glory. Thus has the USA taken a
huge step backwards, isolating itself from the
true concerns of much of the world: environmental
pollution and the demands of a planet suffering
under the strain of impending disaster.
The United
States will find that the world will not stand
still. With or without American co-operation the
nations will proceed as best they can to deal with
the many ecological and social problems which
beset us, and which so urgently must be addressed.
America will find itself left behind and ignored,
and only then will it be prepared to ‘lead’ the
way.
Rhetoric
This
administration is, even now, relishing its
victory, and weighing the pros and cons of
subsequent action. Thwarted and taken unawares by
events in Iraq, it must pause awhile before
considering further violence. But the bravado and
rhetoric will doubtless continue, hoping to bully
and conquer by threats alone. Meanwhile, great
changes in many countries are under way, leading
to a profound shift in the balance of power in the
world. China and India, South America and Russia,
are finding their feet and economic potential.
Africa is beginning to receive, at last, the
concern and goodwill of powerful governments and
agencies, and can look forward to better times.
Thus the
world is turning away from the dominance of
American power and wealth, and charting another
path to fulfil its destiny.
If the United
States insists on its right of unilateral action,
it will find itself neglected and ignored in
international plans and projects, its economy will
further decay, and its people will lose confidence
and trust in government action. Without friends,
and with ebbing strength, it will be forced to
change, and to renew dialogue with its former
friends.
The emergence
of Maitreya will speed the process of this
transformation and assure its welcome completion.
Yasser Arafat, 1929-2004
Benjamin
Creme writes:
A great man
of our time has died, great, yet abused by his
enemies, and misunderstood even by his friends. He
was a man of vision and extraordinary courage and
optimism, an inspiration and father-figure for
nearly half a century to the oppressed people of
Palestine.
He has been
the target of the implacable hatred of Mr Sharon
for decades, and the Israeli propaganda machine
has accused him of every manner of mistake,
misdeed and mishandling of opportunity for peace.
The mud has stuck and he is seen, even by
erstwhile friends, as a ‘flawed’ President.
He was
nothing of the kind. He was invited to and
attended, as did the late King Hussein of Jordan,
the three-day Conference which Maitreya held for
over 300 people in London in April 1990. Since
then, he worked under the immediate inspiration
and guidance of Maitreya Who told him, again and
again, not to accept an agreement which is unjust.
Every agreement put forward has been unjust, and,
being unjust, would not have lasted.
I quote from
my Master’s article, ‘A time of decision’, from
Share International, May 2002:
“… Israel,
meanwhile, stung into action by suicide bombings,
as always overreacts, using as excuse “a war
against terrorism” to impose its will. In the
shameless persecution and humiliation of Mr
Arafat, Israel’s leaders and army should take no
pride. The people of Israel, more than most,
should understand the agony of the oppressed….”
Questions and answers from
Benjamin Creme
(from Share International magazine)
Yasser Arafat
Q. Could you
please give the ray structure and point of
evolution of Yasser Arafat (1929-2004), President
of the Palestinian Authority?
A. Soul: 6;
Personality: 4 (sub-ray 6); Mental: 1 (sub-ray 4);
Astral: 6 (sub-ray 6); Physical: 3 (sub-ray 7).
Point of
evolution: 2.4 degrees initiate. In terms of
spiritual development Yasser Arafat was the
equivalent of former US President John F. Kennedy
(PoE: 2.4) and more advanced than Mahatma Gandhi
(PoE: 2.0).
Q. Was Yasser
Arafat poisoned?
A. No, he
died of a broken heart.
Q. Was Yasser
Arafat foolish not to accept the peace plan
proposed by former President Ehud Barak of Israel?
A. No. It was
not a fair or just plan. Barak claimed that the
Palestinians were offered 90 per cent of the West
Bank territories whereas, in fact, they were
offered 42 per cent of the West Bank area plus
Gaza. Even then the West Bank would be covered
with Israeli settlements, each of which would be
defended with an Israeli garrison. Roads
connecting the settlements would therefore provide
fast communication for the Israeli army, thereby
cutting up the so-called Palestinian areas into
pieces remote from each other. It was hailed as
“most generous”, “perhaps too generous”, by the
Israeli propaganda machine. In fact it was a
travesty of justice. (SI June 2002)
Q.
Chairman Arafat was reported to be in high spirits
during the course of the siege. His doctor visited
him there and proclaimed him to be in good health
despite the extraordinary stress he was under for
a man of his age. (1) Did Maitreya give the
Chairman and his colleagues trapped in their
headquarters a special protective blessing? (2)
Has Maitreya had any further communications with
Chairman Arafat since 1988? (3) Has Maitreya
appeared to the Chairman recently? (SI March 2003)
A. (1) Yes.
(2) Yes. (3) Yes.
Palestine
Q. Many
people in the media seem to believe that Sharon’s
Gaza ‘pull-out’ policy is a genuine move towards
peace. Your comment please?
A. I do not
share that belief. I think the exodus of 8,000
Israelis from Gaza is seen by them as a bargain
‘quid pro quo’ for hundreds of thousands of
Israelis in huge and continuing settlements in the
West Bank, which was to be the Palestinian
homeland. Now, only a fraction remains to the
Palestinians as a viable home, and no curb on the
building of Israeli settlements has been imposed.
Another dishonest US election
Q. (1) Does
the final outcome in the US Presidential election
accurately reflect the preference of those who
voted, or (2) was there any corruption or
manipulation which might have changed the outcome?
If so, (3) which side cheated more? (4) If the
results were ‘fixed’, by which methods was it
done?
A. (1) No. My
information is that there was much cheating. (2)
Yes, Kerry should narrowly have won Ohio and
Florida and the Presidency. I am afraid it is the
same old story, more expertly performed this time.
(3) The Republicans. It seems that cheating by
Democrats was minimal and only on a personal
basis, but cheating by Republicans was pre-planned
and widespread, especially with the new electronic
machines. (4) Pre-programmed electronic voting
systems and various other methods, cruder but just
as effective — delayed postal votes, double
voting, non-counting of votes, and more. Of
course, the marginal (swing) states like Florida
and Ohio were targeted and the machines were
programmed to change every fifth vote for Kerry to
a vote for Bush. However, even without ‘stolen’
votes, Bush, like Gore last time, did in fact
decisively win the popular vote, which I
personally prefer as a record of democratic public
opinion.
Q. In view of
the very suspect election results in the US could
your Master please say how many Democrat votes
were illegally blocked by one means or another?
A. 2.5 per
cent.
Q. Will the
outcome of the US elections polarize society both
in the US and abroad even more than it is already?
A. Yes, for a
time. Eventually, and relatively soon, Maitreya’s
hand and energies, especially those of the Spirit
of Peace and Equilibrium, will make their presence
felt more strongly, and unexpected and welcome
changes will take place worldwide. This is not the
end of the world.
Q. Do you
think Osama bin Laden timed his video precisely
because it suits his purposes to have Bush in the
White House?
A. Yes.
Iraq
Q. A study by
researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School
of Public Health (Baltimore, USA), published in UK
medical journal The Lancet, has shown a huge
increase in Iraqi civilian deaths since the March
2003 US/UK invasion. Most of the dead were women
and children, and most died as a result of
violence — the great majority in coalition
air-strikes. The study estimates the number of
civilian deaths attributable to the war as
100,000. UK foreign secretary Jack Straw, however,
has estimated civilian deaths at 10,000, and the
UK-based Iraq Body Count estimates between
14,000-16,000. In Share International September
2004 you gave the figure of 25,000 as at 29 June
2004. (1) Is the US researchers’ current figure of
100,000 accurate? (2) Were their research methods
reliable?
A. (1)
Reasonably. My information is that now 88,000
civilians have been killed in Iraq. (2) Yes, the
method of research is the most accurate available
but covered only 350 small centres over most of
Iraq. The more centres which could safely be
covered would add to the accuracy.
South
America
Q. South
America has succeeded in electing three left-wing
leaders, unlike America. Do you think it could
lead to really useful co-operation and a new
chapter in social reform and improved living
standards for South America in general?
A. Yes.
Profound changes are taking place, and will
continue to do so, in South America and elsewhere,
which are quite separate and distinct from events
in the USA. These will change the meaning and
appearance of the ‘leadership of the free world’
by the USA which will be seen more and more to be
tackling only old problems in old ways. Unless the
USA grasps the challenge of change in a speedily
changing world, it will be bypassed and left
behind by countries undergoing positive change of
their own, leaving the USA isolated and strong —
but impotent.

America's choice
When American
citizens go to the polls in November, they will have
the opportunity to change the course of history. On
their decision largely rests the style and structure
of the immediate future. If they choose wisely, they
will elect a President committed to fostering the
well-being of all who long for peace and justice in
our troubled world; who realize that peace and
justice are the outcome of trust, and who are
prepared to share the vast resources of their
country to create that trust.
The alternative is too terrible to contemplate: a
mounting programme of war and terror and
counter-terror; a tightening grip on the traditional
freedoms of the American people; a breakdown of
relations with other countries; and a ‘pariah’
reputation among the nations for the proud United
States. Who would knowingly make such a choice?
Beleaguered
As the day of destiny approaches, the minds of many
turn to the beleaguered people of America whom, now,
so many despise and hate. They pray for the
deliverance of its people from the cruel and crude
exponents of illegal, usurped power. They call for
every peace-loving American to raise their voice
against the war-mongering of the present
administration, and to cast their vote in like
fashion.
Canker
Of course, America is not alone at fault for the
inequalities of the world, the basic canker in our
midst, the source of all our troubles. It shares the
blame with all the developed countries who ride
roughshod and cavalier over the poor and struggling,
and must awaken to this main source of tension — and
terror.
Therein lies the fault of the Western world: these
‘successful’ countries owe their wealth and
dominance largely to history, and their ability to
manipulate the world’s economy to their own
advantage through aggressive ‘market forces’. The
world’s poor and destitute now demand their share.
If this simple right of justice is not addressed and
remedied, the world will know no peace. Terrorism
will fester and grow into war, which will threaten
the future of the people of Earth.
We, your Elder Brothers, cannot stand aside and
watch while the very future of the world is under
threat. America is a great nation with much of good
to give the world. It must now awaken to its soul’s
longing to serve, to live in peace and justice, and,
together, in harmony and co-operation, to work with
all nations to remake this world.
This election can be a great turning point in the
affairs of men. Cast your vote, We beg you, for
justice, sharing and peace.

opp de umiddelbare problemene som
menneskeheten står ovenfor. Hans nyeste
artikkel ‘A
call for sanity’ retter
oppmerksomheten mot den utfordringen USA's
befolkning(og verden) står ovenfor ettersom
dagen for det amerikanske presidentvalget
nærmer seg. Han gjør seg umake med å
klargjøre de valgmulighetene som er åpne for
dem og å inspirere til det resultat,
som ganske visst alle fornuftige mennesker
håper på.
A
call for sanity
The
citizens of the United States of America are
approaching a time of critical decision. On their
decision, in November, this year, may depend the
future happiness of many millions, not alone
American, but of many other countries. One would
have thought that this decision would not be
difficult to make, that the choice was surely
obvious to all who treasure peace and right
relationship.
However,
it appears that there are those who think
otherwise, who reserve for themselves the right to
invade other countries on the pretext that they
might be plotting harm for them. Such pre-emptive
action, one would have assumed, was long ago
abandoned by modern, civilized states, and
relegated to man’s illegal past.
Not so,
sadly, we are assured. The present American
administration, far from showing remorse for their
unjust and cruel invasion of Iraq, proudly assert,
if re-elected, their firm resolve to continue
their programme of pillage in their ‘war on
terror’.
A
phantom
To fight a
‘war on terror’ is to fight a phantom, a useless,
costly and dangerous exercise. Terror is the
Hydra, a many-headed monster: each head severed,
as Hercules discovered, is replaced by two. This
US administration, in its arrogance and ignorance,
has fallen blindly into the trap. Those who suffer
are the American people, their victims, and the
world as a whole.
There is
but one way to deal with terror, to end, forever,
this canker in our midst: to seek its cause.
There are,
of course, several causes of terrorism, but above
all in importance is the unbalanced distribution
of the world’s resources. This creates the
dangerous gulf between the nations which drives
men to use terror to realize their dreams. They
are desperate men, who feel they have nothing to
lose. There is an immense, untapped army of such
desperate people ready to die, if necessary, for
the justice they long for which, rightly, they see
as theirs.
No ‘war on
terror’ can defeat such an army. No arrogant
posturing can drive them away from the bastions of
the Western world.
No nation,
however strong, can by itself defeat terrorism. It
is born of the injustice which disfigures this
world.
Share
Only when
men learn to share will we see the end of
terrorism. Only through sharing can the goal of
justice and freedom be realized. Our appeal to
you, citizens of the great and blessed United
States of America, is to think carefully, and from
the heart, as is your wont, when you deliver your
vote. Cast your vote for peace, justice and the
rule of Law.

The story that won’t go away
30
years of bringing a message of hope to the world
For 30
years Benjamin Creme has been telling the world
about the most hopeful message of our time — that at
this critical crossroads in human history a group of
benign, enlightened teachers are emerging from Their
remote retreats, to teach and inspire humanity to
live together in unity and co-operation. At
Their head is Maitreya, the World Teacher,
long-awaited by religious groups as Christ, Maitreya
Buddha, Krishna, the Messiah, and the Imam Mahdi.
The well-known esotericists Helena Blavatsky and
Alice A.Bailey foretold this event in their writings
in the early 20th century.
Benjamin
Creme is internationally known for his grasp of the
complex problems of today, inter-relating economic,
political, social and spiritual issues. His unique
insights create an all-embracing picture of world
affairs, inspiring a sense of hope in the millions
around the world who have heard his information.
(Lecture next Tuesday 6 April: see details below.)
Journalist Mick Brown describes, in his book The
Spiritual Tourist, a lecture in 1984:
“Perhaps a
hundred people had crammed into a back room, seated
on metal chairs — a curious assortment: people one
would have taken for students or social workers;
middle-aged women buttoned up in overcoats …
“I found
myself warming to Mr Creme enormously. He was a
wonderful speaker, addressing the audience in a
relaxed, affable Scottish lilt, peppering his
monologue with jokes and the occasional
self-deprecating aside. He spoke of all this — of
Maitreyas and hierarchies and days of reckoning — as
if it was the most natural thing in the world;
extraordinary, certainly; of the utmost importance,
no doubt. But implausible? Ludicrous? Fanciful and
far-fetched? Not in the least. It was clear that Mr
Creme believed every word that he was saying. And at
that moment, my curiosity was hooked.”
Journalist Patricia Pitchon describes, in her book
Searching for Maitreya, a lecture in 1982:
“[During
the blessing from Maitreya] I saw Mr Creme
surrounded by a beautiful light, which created an
outline not only for his body but also for the
bodies of the first two or three front rows of the
audience. His face seemed to disappear, and ... I
found myself staring at a magnificent and entirely
different visage: a man with high cheekbones,
golden-brown skin, medium-sized, well-shaped nose
and mouth, and immense, dark eyes. As this visage
entered my direct line of vision, I felt powerful
streams of energy pouring from it and entering my
heart. I actually felt as if someone had lit a torch
to the entire region of my chest.
“This
energy had an unmistakable quality: it was the
purest love. I was struck by the purity and power of
the being who looked straight at me, and from whom,
inexplicably, emanated this extraordinary current of
love. This vision lasted for about 20 minutes ... I
was motionless. The powerful current of love which
flowed into my heart filled me with wonder …
At the end of this blessing, the light disappeared
around Benjamin Creme; everything was back to
normal.”
Patricia
Pitchon later recognized the same face outside the
window of a restaurant in Brick Lane: “... I
suddenly found myself staring straight at the face
of the man whom I had seen in the vision two and a
half years earlier during ‘Maitreya’s blessing’ at
Benjamin Creme’s lecture. He was unmistakably the
same man; his face was identical. I had never
forgotten that visage and could recall it at will
any time effortlessly. But this time it was no
vision. He was there, in full physical presence.”
First-hand
accounts
Coming
from all walks of life, members of the audience
often remark how their lives have changed since
hearing Benjamin Creme’s ‘message of hope’.
The
following selection of edited accounts describe the
experiences of people attending his lecture for the
first time.
Jackie
Osterloh, Dublin, CA, USA (Payroll processing

... My
first Benjamin Creme lecture was a life changing
experience for me. I thought: ‘At last, someone is
telling me the TRUTH about the Christ, about the
evolution of man towards mastery; the reasons for
the terrible tension in the world due to lack of
love and sharing of the world's resources.’ To hear
about the presence and guidance of the Spiritual
Hierarchy was like a huge weight being lifted from
my mind, which was so very concerned about the
future for the planet and for humanity ... I was
never the same person after that lecture.

… Then I
noticed a rather amazing thing: as his eyes moved
from person to person I noticed his entire visage
disappear beneath a glowing orb of brilliant yellow
or golden light. It only lasted maybe one or two
seconds but it was a very definite experience and I
could not convince myself that I somehow imagined it
— it definitely happened … I am a trained scientist
with two degrees in physics and have a general
approach to life that says that the only healthy
mind is a sceptical one … It gradually seemed to me
that there was ‘enough to go on’ to take his story
seriously and keep an open mind about its possible
truth.
Gill

... The
room at Friends Meeting House was bustling with lots
of people: all ages, backgrounds, people on their
own, groups of friends. It was relaxed, yet buzzing
… What was so unusual about his talk was the way he
connected so many subjects together: solving the
outer problems of the world alongside esoteric
truths. He spoke in a calm, detached way, never
sounding fanatical or trying to persuade us he was
right ... Mr Creme’s lecture was so inspiring ...
[and I] left infused with hope, for which I was very
grateful. That first lecture changed my life and I
now think of my life as having two distinct parts:
before and after I knew what I heard that evening.
It was like stepping into reality, and at last
seeing where we were heading.
Tim
Welch, Milton Keynes, UK
… The
element of the talk that focused on the esoteric
teachings gave me what was the most complete
explanation I have ever heard about how the universe
works at the perceivable and unperceivable levels …
There were no isms and that drew me straight away.
The fact that Mr Creme was effectively saying ‘test
this for yourself to see if it rings true for you’
was also a very refreshing change. Most peddlers of
religions, or belief systems, don’t ask that
question so this was another very refreshing change
from anything I had heard before. Also I was not
being tapped for money ...
Marian
Peleski, Newark, DE, USA
[During
the blessing] I was ready to walk out because I came
to hear Mr Creme speak, but instead of speaking, he
was moving his head back and forth with no apparent
purpose. As I was about to stand to leave, Mr
Creme 'looked' at me. I was transported
instantaneously to the deepest state of near
breathless transcendence I'd ever experienced. I
stayed.… Being a scientist, I needed to verify that
my experience the previous year would be repeated.
When Mr Creme 'looked' at me, I was again
instantaneously transported to the transcendent.
I have followed his story for some 28 years now and
am totally convinced of the truth of what he says
...
Idina
Le Geyt, London, UK (Researcher)
… During
the meditation, Benjamin Creme looked at each of us,
and waves of energy flowed from him. On the first
three visits I was able to see these energies, the
first time as white light filling the room, so
bright that the figures of the audience fell away,
only their outline remaining visible, and Mr Creme
was enveloped in a pulsating glow of light which
reached the ceiling. Opening and closing my eyes did
not halt the phenomenon. On the second visit the
room became infused with rosy-pink, and on my third
visit, it was golden. I never experienced this
brilliance again, and felt that it was a glimpse
behind the veil to give me encouragement …

I attended
Benjamin Creme's lecture for the first time at Tokyo
in 1991. The lecture hall was rather big and I was
surprised that about 500 to 600 seats of the hall
were almost filled to capacity. When Mr Creme
appeared on the platform he looked a very friendly
and warm person ... But once the overshadowing
began, his expression changed and looked very
dignified. It seemed that a very deep calmness
emanated from him. I thought he seemed to be a great
Zen master and was so moved that I felt like running
to him and kneeling before him. It was very unusual
experience for me (I am not a devotee type at all) …
In a word my impression after listening to the
lecture was: this is authentic!
Jenny
Glover, London, UK (Author)
… The
lecturer sat down, and simply began to look directly
at each member of the audience in turn. As he did
so, a change came over the lecture hall, an
extraordinarily deep stillness. It was as though the
air subtly changed its consistency, becoming somehow
thick with particles of light drifting through it.
Mr Creme himself was surrounded by a pale golden
haze of light. I could have sat there for ever … I
left the hall feeling touched at some very deep
level — and utterly sure that the next Teacher was
indeed in the world. And it felt so good to
have His name.
Richard
Elphick, Worthing, UK (Support worker for people
with learning difficulties)
On
attending my first talk by Benjamin Creme, what made
the lasting impression on me was the sheer
compassion that he had when speaking about the
starving millions. I can say with all honesty that I
(being a member of various Oxfam campaign groups,
etc) have never heard a man or woman, spiritual or
not, speak with such compassion on behalf of
downtrodden humanity.
Felicity

… This was
it! This was what I’d been looking for all those
years when I read all sorts of books, looked into
various disciplines and areas of life trying to find
a fully satisfying complete understanding of
reality. Philosophy, religion, science (as far as I
understood it), political systems, all seemed
partial and none seemed truly to connect everything.
I knew instantly that this was true. I just knew it.
I literally skipped, hopped, jumped, flew along the
corridor in Friends House barely suppressing squeals
of delight. Such joy — the most joyful day of my
life so far.
Suzanne Philipps, Forest Row, UK (Science teacher)
... I am a
science graduate and have also rejected a strongly
imposed Roman Catholic religious upbringing. I was
sceptical and did not know what to expect … During
the last blessing, a fiery, golden energy swept
through my entire being and I was riveted to my
seat. Since then I have been coming to the lectures
regularly for the last 13 years.
Essy
Payne, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, UK (Iranian
therapist-healer)
... People
of every nationality and background were sitting and
just listening about the reason why we are born, why
things happen to us and that we are not alone. For
the first time in my life I felt really happy and
free and realised that I have not sinned but made
mistakes and it’s OK … I try and go every month to
Mr Creme’s lectures. I call it spiritual
nourishment. It’s political, it’s current affairs,
it’s spiritual ...
Diana
Elderton, London, UK (Librarian)
...
During the overshadowing of Mr Creme and his
pronouncement of the final message, a profound calm
and hush descended on the audience … I felt
uplifted, comforted and nourished not only by the
atmosphere, but also by the words of optimism and
hope for humanity … This was a biblical story
brought right up to date with current information,
filling the void which had sent me running from
organized religion in my late teens. Here was a
humanitarian perspective of global politics and
economics, and a proposal for the realistic changes
required to set the world to rights. This was not a
revolutionary call to arms, but a call to ordinary
people to see their role in events, the part they
could play in implementing sharing and justice, in
ending hunger in the world ...

publisert artikler av en Visdommens
Mester. Benjamin Creme’s Mester adresserer
de umiddelbare problemene som
menneskeheten står ovenfor uten å være
mystisk eller fjern. I sin nyeste artikkel
kaster Mesteren lys over den nåværende
verdenssituasjonen, kommenterer
stridighetene som invasjonen av Irak har
ført til og de uforutsette følgene av
denne konflikten. Mesteren avslører
hvordan Maitreya står klar til å
intervenere om nødvendig og å inspirere
til den holdningsendring som uunngåelig
vil føre til etablering av rettferdighet
og derfor av fred.
The ultimate triumph
When a nation comes to adulthood, to
maturity, it relates to other nations in a
completely different way than hitherto. It
begins to respect the Rule of Law, which
binds all nations together in mutual
responsibility and need. The sign of a
growing maturity is precisely this respect
for the laws which men have found
necessary to living together in peace.
From time to time, a nation may feel
powerful enough to ignore the law which
irks its ambition to dominate, and to make
war despite the warnings of restraint from
its friends.
Thus it is today that the United States,
now, alone, a ‘superpower’, vexes and
worries the people of more mature nations
who have grown to see the folly of
unilateral action outside the Rule of Law.
The young and over-confident ‘superpower’,
flexing its muscles, will overreach
itself, and the sooner this happens the
safer for the world. Already a steadily
growing chaos exacts due cost in loss of
life, both American and Iraqi. The seal of
Pandora’s Box has been broken and from it
has stepped a monster, out of control. To
be sure, the US administration wear as
brave a face as they can muster, but
behind the scenes, they are worried
indeed, and seek desperately a less than
ignominious method of withdrawal.
Meanwhile, the defeated Iraqi army fights
a guerrilla war with some success, while
religious groups, seizing their
opportunity, increase the tension with
calls for civil war. Thus, the paramount
adventure of the American President,
designed to demonstrate the invincibility
of the United States, has little to show
for its efforts and very much still to
lose.
Folly
When, at last, the US Government sees for
itself the folly of this reckless and
unnecessary war, it will not, of course,
admit this to the world. Rather, it will
seek to gain the support of the United
Nations to extricate itself from this
embarrassing blunder, and, if possible, to
lay the blame elsewhere.
Suffers
When, among nations, the Rule of Law is
ignored, the whole world suffers. Thus,
today, the tension which has accompanied
this futile demonstration of military
strength affects millions, innocent of all
terrorist action or mayhem. The world is
struggling now with epidemics of all kinds
as the human immune system breaks down
under the stress. Did the warmongers but
realize the karmic effects of their
ill-considered actions, they might well
make amends and take sightings for another
course.
Maitreya, meanwhile, watches carefully
this inharmonious situation, ready to
intervene if necessary, ready to emerge
when possible. Remember that Maitreya is
in no doubt about the ultimate triumph of
those who stand behind Him, who value
peace and justice, freedom and love. He
knows that these are the mainsprings of
human existence and comes to see them
enthroned in all.

Saddam Hussein?
A story calling for investigation
In a news release sent to media worldwide
on 8 April 2003 we published our
information that Saddam Hussein had been
injured in the first bombing of Iraq on 20
March 2003 and died two days later from
his injuries.
So who has now been captured by American
forces?
In our view certainly not Saddam Hussein
but an obvious stand-in, of whom we
understand there are at least three: two
cousins and a close friend all with
similar family characteristics. We believe
he is the same man — a cousin — seen on
